5 Facts about the X-Back

1. Signature X-Back design

X-back differenceThe X-back design allows the vest to contour to your shoulders, lowering the profile, increasing comfort, and improving range of motion. The weight of the vest and its contents is moved away from the back of your neck and evenly distributed across your shoulders, reducing fatigue. The adjustable X-Back straps provide enough range to make this vest one size fits all.

2. Constant wear

In the event of an emergency, it would be really hard to put on a life vest in the cabin. SWITLIK Constant Wear Life Vests are designed to provide pilots and passengers with superior safety and comfort for flights over water.

3. There are 3 different varieties of the SWITLIK X-Back

  • X-Back Basic
The X-Back Basic incorporates the same fit, adjustment and overall comfort from the X-Back         design, with the addition of two permanently attached pockets in place of the MOLLE vest      attachment loops.X-Back-Basic

4. Simple deployment

High visibility red beaded handles are found on both sides of the vest for simple activation. They incorporate a breakaway safety feature to prevent snagging.

5. Redundancy

The life vest is a twin chamber inflatable cell, offering over 35 pounds of buoyancy. Backup oral inflation tubes are conveniently located on either side of the vest and easily reached through the side access flaps.
