The SWITLIK Difference: Man Overboard

A BoatUS study found that in the majority of man overboard accidents, most did not involve bad weather, rough seas or other extenuating circumstances. And yet, a victim still fell overboard.

Man-OverboardWhen a man overboard situation occurs, it’s critical to get flotation to the victim quickly.

SWITLIK Man Overboard and Rescue Modules (MOM) provide flotation in the quickest and safest way to man overboard victim while ensuring that the victim can be easily and safely recovered back on board.

The SWITLIK Difference: Offering options to meet your specific boating needs:

CORD: The CORD is an inflatable life sling, designed for man overboard emergencies for both leisure boaters and first responders.

MOM 8-A: The MOM 8-A is the fastest way to get all the necessary man overboard safety equipment to a victim in the water. When inflated, the underarm flotation device will keep the victim afloat, while the ballasted locator pylon has a 6-foot waterline height and water activated light for better visibility.

MOM 8-S: The MOM 8-S, is designed to provide the market with a lighter, smaller version of the current MOM 8-A.
